Hand surgery is a key component of plastic and reconstructive surgical training. Plastic and reconstructive hand surgeons focus on the joints, as well as the nerves, tendons, bones and blood vessels of the hand.

Hand surgeons, including those with training in plastic and reconstructive surgery, are skilled in treating conditions affecting the hand. It is a sub-speciality we spend up to 70% of our training in over the 5 + years completing specialist registration.
